The SmartTasker Terms & Conditions outline SmartTasker and Your obligations and responsibilities on the SmartTasker Platform.
1. Scope of SmartTasker Services
SmartTasker provides the SmartTasker Platform to enable Posters to publish Posted Tasks.
2. SmartTasker's Role and Obligations
SmartTasker provides the SmartTasker Service in consideration for the Booking Fee and the Tasker Service Fee.
3. User Obligations
You will at all times comply with this Agreement and all applicable laws and regulations.
4. Pricing, Fees and Payouts
A Booking Fee is payable to SmartTasker in respect of bookings made on the Platform.
5. Payouts, Refunds and Cancellations
Cancellation and refund rules governing Task Contracts.
6. Payment Facility
SmartTasker uses Xendit as our Payment Provider to operate the Payment Account.
7. Verification & Badges
SmartTasker may provide identity verification, document verification and other trust and safety services.
8. Insurance
SmartTasker does not offer any insurance policies.
9. Privacy and Personal Data
SmartTasker collects, stores, uses and discloses personal information in accordance with applicable law.
10. Modifications to the Agreement
SmartTasker may modify this Agreement or the Policies from time to time.
11. No Agency
No agency, partnership, joint venture, employee-employer or other similar relationship is created by this Agreement.
11A. Marketplace Status
SmartTasker operates a technology marketplace that enables Posters and Taskers to connect and enter into Task Contracts.
12. Notices
Except as stated otherwise, any notices must be given by registered ordinary post or by email.
13. Mediation and Dispute Resolution
SmartTasker encourages You to try and cooperate with the other User to resolve disputes directly.
14. Termination
Either You or SmartTasker may terminate your account and this Agreement at any time for any reason.
15. General
The provisions of this Agreement are severable.
15A. Taxes
Taskers are solely responsible for any taxes arising from payments received through the SmartTasker Platform.

The terms used in this Task Contract have the meaning set out in the SmartTasker Glossary.
Appendix B: Indonesia-Specific Terms
Terms applicable to all Users accessing or using the SmartTasker Platform in Indonesia.
